BEAUTIFUL BRITISH COLUMBIA...

We hope you have some time to enjoy all Vancouver (and surrounding) has to offer!

Transit to Emma's parents house is easy from anywhere. Please e-mail or call for details. They would love to have you, and it usually includes a five star home cooked dinner. Some hits as of late have been Laval's beef brisket, oven-roasted lamb and the wold famous potato salad. Margaret is the hostess with the mostess and has the conversation flowing like the cocktails.

DOWNTOWN

Pacific Centre - great mall with all the standards.

Nordstrom - The restaurant on the top floor is a nice place to grab lunch with good views of downtown!

Robson Street - More shopping! They recently opened a Lulu flagship store here. Also includes Zara, Forever21, Sephora, Aritzia etc. on this street.

Gastown - Cool / historic district with lots of boutique shops. Make sure to stand and watch the clock for a bit.

Vancouver Art Gallery - Take in some culture, won't you?  Feast your eyes on the works of a little known painter called, Monet. Did I mention we're still searching for something to put above the couch?

Stanley Park - Where our wedding is taking place! Walk the Seawall, rent a bicycle (wear a helmet!), take in the beautiful scenery!

NORTH VANCOUVER / ADVENTURE TIME

Capilano Bridge is a breathtaking suspension bridge in North Vancouver. They have a free shuttle running out of downtown. It’s a whole park with lots of different activities.

FREE Shuttle service Map from downtown

Grouse Mountain is another fun North Vancouver adventure. You might see a bear! Take the big passenger gondola up the mountain and enjoy the ride. Once you’re up there, grab lunch or walk around and check it out a bit.

Free shuttle from Canada Place - https://www.grousemountain.com/shuttle

GRANVILLE ISLAND

Granville island is a great place to walk around / spend a day. It offers breweries, paddle boat rentals, a food market and many restaurants and shops. For the sausage lovers - check out the Oyama stand.

MAIN STREET

Head here for vintage shopping, record stores and breweries (we like 33 Acres and Brassneck - but take those recommendation lightly as Emma doesn't even drink beer).

KITSILANO

A great neighbourhood full of shopping, restaurants and home to a few of Vancouver's amazing beaches. Meet us at Darby's later for a rooftop Margarita!
